“海滨广斥，盐田相望”，因盛产海盐而得名的海盐县，成千上万的盐田人用他们勤劳的双手和聪明才智前赴后继，让海盐成为中国历史上主要的产盐地，虽海侵无常，却一直坚持到二十世纪中叶，终因海水盐分淡化，海盐的产盐业退出了历史的舞台，然而盐田人民并未因此停下脚步卸下精神，在改革开放的新浪潮里盐田人民继续振作精神，用他们勤劳的双手和聪明才智，谱写出无数魅力四射的新曲；尤其是新世纪国家一带一路战略的实施，盐田人再起航，创造性的编织出一幅幅美丽的画卷，在新丝路的征途中培育出一颗颗璀璨的新苗。

“In the coastal saline land lies the salt pan”. At Haiyan County, a place that is famous for abounding in sea salt, thousands of people working at the salt pan made Haiyan a major salt-producing area in the Chinese history, in addition to its industrious hands as well as intelligence and wisdom. Despite the capricious seawater intrusion, it was not until the mid-twentieth century when the salt industry of Haiyan was forced to step off the stage of history by desalination. However, the people of Haiyan keep their burning passion and continue to forge forward in the new wave of reform and opening up, rewriting their melodious and new career compositions with their industrious hands and wisdom. With the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative in the new century, the persevering men and women of the salt pan industry have set sail once more, weaving numerous beautiful picture scrolls with their creativity, and nurturing batches of outstanding talents on the journey towards the new Silk Road.
